Active shooter reported at Idaho sheriff office

 The Mineral County Sheriff's Office confirmed that there was an active shooter at the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office in Wallace, Idaho.

"We are sending reinforcement to help our neighbor," the office said. It urged citizens to keep away from downtown Wallace. The local media reported there is a "large police presence" in the area.

As per still unconfirmed reports, a gunman opened fire inside the Idaho Shoshone County Courthouse and Sheriff's Office building. In an update, Idaho media quoted Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris as saying that the suspect was "neutralized." No further details were provided.
