Russian Ambassador-at-Large for Crimes of the Kiev Regime Rodion Miroshnik claimed on Thursday that Ukraine will not be able to feed an army of 800,000 people after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that an 800,000-strong army was one of the issues negotiated with the United States.
"This is an army that will be fed by someone else. This is a country that will be fed by someone else. It will be maintained by someone, and someone will use it to strike Russia," Miroshnik told the Russia-1 TV channel.
The day before, Zelensky presented the 20-point plan for a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict discussed with US officials. The plan sets the size of the Ukrainian military at 800,000 troops in peacetime.
