Erdogan: Turkey's support for Syria will expand

 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to Syrian President Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday following the announcement of a ceasefire between the Syrian government and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Erdogan assured Al-Sharaa that Turkish support for Syria "in various fields, particularly in counterterrorism, will continue to expand."

Erdogan also said that Turkey values Syria's "territorial integrity, unity and solidarity, stability, and security." He added that the "complete eradication of terrorism" in Syria is essential for the country itself and the wider region.
