Microsoft's Q2 revenue tops estimates at $81.3B, up 17% YoY

 Microsoft Corporation announced on Wednesday that its revenue in the second quarter of the company's fiscal year 2026 jumped 17% to hit $81.3 billion, landing above analysts' expectations.

Operating income increased by 21% year-on-year to $38.3 billion, while net income skyrocketed 60% over the same period to $38.5 billion. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) also added 60% annually to reach $5.16.

"We are only at the beginning phases of AI diffusion and already Microsoft has built an AI business that is larger than some of our biggest franchises," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated in the release, underscoring how the tech giant is "pushing the frontier" across its entire AI stack.
