Google Labs on Wednesday started to roll out Dreambeans, an experimental app that generates short, personalized stories drawn from a user's own Google activity rather than a traditional social feed.
The app draws on Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube and Search to assemble a set of daily stories, each paired with an original illustration. Users tap stories for more details, to save items, or give feedback to refine future entries. Connected apps are chosen by the user, and those settings remain separate from other Google products.
Dreambeans is available now for Google AI Ultra subscribers 18 and older based in the US, both on Android and iOS, while a waitlist is open to others.
