United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that a recent public claim by Iran's foreign minister claiming that Tehran has not attacked civilians in neighboring countries is false.
"Iran’s foreign minister recently claimed publicly that Iran has not attacked civilians in neighboring countries. This is FALSE," CENTCOM wrote on X.
The military command added that Iran "has not only intentionally attacked civilian infrastructure ... but it has also deliberately attacked civilian mariners at sea — killing more than 20 in recent months."
