The more the press debunks the illegals-eating-cats reports, the more the memes come out

 By Monica Showalter

Oh, the chagrin Democrats feel now that the political "narrative" has shifted from "childless cat ladies" to their favored Haitian migrants eating cats, with J.D. Vance in the middle of both and clearly coming out on top with the narrative shift. They rant, they rail, they "fact-check," they dismiss, they debunk, and try to shut any questions down.

But they are powerless against the flood of memes that has emerged, as if the entire country's imagination has been captured by the matter, triggering an outpouring of creativity the likes of which has not been seen elsewhere in this election, buttressed by the availability of artificial intelligence meme generators, which use objects that machines have been programmed to view as non-political and non-conservative, and therefore, are easily obtainable, not censored, nor edited out.

Here are some:

No wonder the press establishment and its political masters are pushing back so hard against the public's fascination with the story, debunking it as "baseless."

It's so damning for their narrative, and cripes, the public is spreading them all over. While the press and politicos debunk these stories with their usual haughty certainty, the public runs right past them with their memes, catch them if you can.

After all, many of these meme makers have seen a lot of witness testimony in official hearings, photographs, and background information about Haitian cultural practices, which suggests there's something to the story that ought to at least be looked into, even as "journalists" close the books on the matter based on claims from police spokespeople that they have no reports of cats being eaten by migrants.

That pat claim has a lot of holes in it and to insist that the police and more particularly, their leftist political bosses, have no interest in getting the spotlight off the city and whatever they may be doing to import the cat-eaters in is certainly worth a question or two from the press. But the press is incurious.

So the meme-makers aren't buying it, they're just meme-ing more, because wasn't it cops and city officials who claimed that reports of illegally present Venezuelan gang members taking over apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado, north Dallas, Chicago, New York, and now El Paso were "baseless"? Aren't these the same people who spread disinformation about COVID and ivermectin to justify lockdowns, calling any skeptic a conspiracy theorist? Aren't these the same officials who insisted the 2020 election was "the most secure in U.S. history" and who called anyone questioning that a conspiracy theorist?

Now with reports of migrants eating pets along with ducks and geese in parks, the 'nothing to see here, move along' claim, swallowed whole by the press is not selling like it used to with the public.

So here we are -- the reports out of Springfield, Ohio, a city overwhelmed by Joe Biden's secret migrant flights at taxpayer expense, and this story has caught fire with the public, seemingly as a response to all the automatic debunking coming from the press and its political masters.

After all, it's hard to argue 'facts' with an artistic, and very funny meme which doesn't claim to be factual, but can only be funny if it expresses something that's true.

This is why dictators in places like the Soviet Union (read any of the works of Vladimir Voinoivich), East Germany (see: The Lives of Others), Czechoslovakia (read: The Joke, by Milan Kundera) and Cuba (note the rappers and punk rockers like Gorky who have been jailed) have always responded with incredible force at those who crack jokes about their dictatorships. That would also explain the response we are seeing now from the totalitarian-minded left, which has been dining out on censorship and deplatforming for years. Can't "fact-check" these memes away in the slanted way NewsGuard does against news stories and even blog posts which it then puts on blacklists.

The memes are all the public has left to express that something is wrong with Kamala Harris's open borders. That's why this feels as though some kind of turning point has been reached as this election progresses towards its finish. It's said that winning candidates in modern elections always are the masters of the most important medium of the day. Up until now, that's been Kamala Harris with her TikTok mastery. But that's suddenly looking like yesterday's medium with the advent of artificial intelligence (used for generating memes). On that front, the Trump side is clearly coming out as supreme in AI memes.

Citizen journalist in Springfield, OH wonders how Haitians get licenses but can’t actually drive

As the story unfolds, it seems as though Haitian migrants can’t be trusted around house cats, in the public parks, or apparently, behind the wheel of a car. Watch the video below, from Tyler Oliveria, as he interviews residents of Springfield, Ohio, and pokes around the DMV:

On a scale of 1–10, this Springfielder gives the Haitians a -10, saying the Haitian migrants are “horrible” drivers—but somehow, they’re getting licenses… I wonder if that has anything to do with the Democrats wanting people to have licenses so they can vote? Ohio offers online voter registration, which requires only five simple things:

  • Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number

  • Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Address

  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

Now, as you might recall, Kamala Harris explained that she and Joe Biden had granted Temporary Protected Status to over 100,000 Haitian migrants during their administration, which is still ongoing; according to the Social Security Administration, noncitizens with TPS “are generally issued an EAD,” or an Employment Authorization Document. With an EAD, the SSA also acknowledges that a noncitizen can get a SSN–and boom, a noncitizen suddenly has the ability to register to vote.

Also worth noting is the DMV worker’s hesitation when asked if the Haitians are taking the same tests as American citizens, before stating that she’s not “allowed to answer” the question; it’s pretty condemning.

But while in Springfield, Oliveira discovered there’s much more to the story, like an American veteran who’s been denied government benefits while Haitians take his place, and a local law enforcement officer who, when asked to make an “observation” on the split between Haitians and Springfielders showing up for licenses, suggests a “nine-to-one” figure favoring the former:

This cop says the split is “nine-to-one” until later in the afternoon, when more Springfielders show up—any speculation as to why that might be? I’ve got a guess… because the Springfielders are working, earning those dollars that are supplying the translators, and the driving manuals in French, and staffing the DMV, and every other government office to which these Haitians are flocking.

Here’s what else Oliveria found:

And this:

I guarantee few people would have a problem with Haitian migrants if Haitian migrants took great pains to learn the language, get off welfare, stop using a “magic money card,” and adopted American values, and assimilated to the American way of life.

As a commenter queried, “What kind of government puts illegals ahead of its own citizens? Put the whole Dem party on trial.”

I unequivocally agree.

"Excuse Me, Are You His Daughter?": 1995 Clip Of Willie Brown Side-Piece Kamala Resurfaces

As we all know, Kamala Harris' political career was launched into orbit after former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, who she was fucking, flipped Harris into the ultimate position: power.

In 1994, Brown appointed Harris unemployment insurance appeals board. She then worked her way  then the California Medical Assistance Commission. Then in 2000, while Willie Brown was Mayor of SF, Harris got a job at City Hall working underneath city attorney Louise Renne, as well. In 2001, she dated talk show host Montel Williams.

Harris eventually went on to become San Francisco District Attorney, the Attorney General of California, a US Senator, Joe Biden's running mate in the 2020 US election, and now - Vice President - whose staff absolutely hates her.

In 1995, with Harris at the peak of pleasing Willie's willy in exchange for a career, one reporter asked her a key question while she was out with Brown - 30 years her senior: "Are you his daughter?"

Meanwhile, for some real insight into Harris' career in California, Guy Saperstein wrote last year:

My career was as a trial lawyer in the SF Bay Area. The mayor and later Speaker of the California Assembly, Willie Brown, was a personal friend and political supporter of trial lawyers. I loved Willie. He was smart, politically gifted — he supported everything I ever asked him for — and funny. Willie defined the word “dapper.” We'd go shopping at the same store, Wilkes Bashford, where he was the King. He would always tell the staff, “Now, you take care of my white buddy Guy. Whites are not blessed with my good taste, so help the poor boy.” Willie had more charm than ten white boys.

Willie was married and estranged from his wife. It was well-known he had a young — 30 years younger — black girlfriend. He didn't even try to hide it. The girlfriend was Kamala Harris, then a nondescript assistant city attorney. Next thing I knew, Kamala was running for District Attorney, supported by Willie's powerful political machine against the then DA, Terence Hallinan, a progressive. Willie's machine won and Kamala became San Francisco DA.

Next next thing I knew, assistant San Francisco DAs were calling me and asking, “Where is Kamala?” They knew I was a friend of Willie's. Apparently, she wasn't showing up for work.

A few months later, I read that Kamala had been read the riot act by a solid Democratic judge for not maintaining good chain of custody for evidence. “Chain of custody” is a legal term which means that the evidence you submit to the court is that same uncontaminated evidence you seized at the crime scene. Before I became a civil rights class action lawyer, I did 50 criminal jury trials, and chain of custody was never an issue because the DA would do his/her job competently and insure that the correct evidence was presented to the court. But that was before Kamala's laziness set new standards.

Kamala was hauled before three liberal judges who were outraged by her sloppiness. In response, Kamala lied under oath to all of them, trying to blame it on the police department crime lab, but that was total bullshit. When an attorney presents evidence to a court, she or he vouches for it. Kamala should have been disbarred as a result, but San Francisco is a liberal “old boys” network, and liberals protect even lying, unethical DAs.

When the dust cleared, 1,100 FELONIES had to be dismissed — and by Democratic judges. In the history of American jurisprudence, I don't think this has ever happened. Just think of what it means to have 1,100 felonies dismissed for defective chain-of-custody. Harris was willing to allow 1,100 people to go to prison for years because she wouldn't admit her errors.
