Unilever (UL) is in discussions to acquire GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) nutrition unit, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter. If finalized, a transaction would end a monthslong auction process that also garnered interest from Nestle (NSRGY) and Coca-Cola (KO), the report says. Some analysts have indicated that the Horlicks brand, which is the centerpiece of GSK’s nutrition arm, could be valued at as much as $3B, the report notes.
