United States President Donald Trump announced that Sarah Beckstrom, one of the two National Guard members shot in Washington DC on Wednesday, has passed away.
"I must unfortunately tell you that seconds before I went on, right now, I heard that Sarah Beckstrom of West Virginia, one of the guardsmen that we're talking about," has "just" passed away, Trump said.
The other victim is "fighting for his life," Trump added, noting that the suspect behind the shooting is "also in serious condition."
