JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said Thursday at a US Chamber of Commerce event that he hopes to stay in his role for "at least" five more years. At the helm of America’s biggest bank for 20 years, Dimon continues to be a major force in corporate America, with Wall Street closely watching discussions about his succession.
"I love what I do," he remarked. "It's up to the board how long I do it. As long as I have the energy and the spirit in the eye and the fire in the gut, yeah, I want to do it."
Asked about the Fed chair position, he said there was "absolutely, positively no chance."
