Ukraine's Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov announced on Friday that Kiev had deployed interceptor units in five Middle Eastern countries in order to protect critical and civilian infrastructure.
"Our teams conducted an expert assessment of the protection of critical infrastructure facilities and developed specific solutions," Umerov wrote on X, adding that Ukraine is also working to "expand coverage areas."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated yesterday that both the Russian and the Iranian regimes' attacks on energy sites "must be stopped."
