The European Council on Thursday adopted sanctions on four Israeli entities and three individuals for "serious and systematic human rights abuses against Palestinians in the West Bank."
The sanctioned entities include Amana, Nachala Settlement Movement, NGO Regavim and NGO Hashomer Yosh, along with directors of the latter three, Daniella Weiss, Meir Deutsch and Avichai Suissa, respectively. They are accused of settler violence, human rights abuses and dispossession of Palestinian properties.
The sanctioned entities and individuals are to face an asset freeze and a travel ban to the EU. The sanctions were imposed within the EU's Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime, established in 2020.
