US President Donald Trump revealed details about his negotiations with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping regarding the Iran conflict, confirming that Beijing will not be providing weapons to Tehran.
In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, the American head of state claimed that Xi promised he is "not going to give military equipment" to Iran. "That's a big statement. He said that today," Trump noted, adding that the Chinese leader said it "strongly."
During his state visit, Trump already said that China agreed to help the US in the Iran war, and that the two countries agreed Iran should never have a nuclear weapon.
