The Dow Jones rallied 0.89% or 450 points at 8:00 am ET. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P's losses eased partially, with the former down 0.71% at 8:01 am ET, and the latter now standing flat.
The euro traded 0.34% above the dollar at 8:12 am ET, going for 1.16380.
