Iranian officials warned they may leave negotiations with the United States if Israel continues military operations in Lebanon, according to Saudi news channel Al-Hadath.
The talks between Iran and the US were scheduled to begin in Switzerland but were delayed. Meanwhile, Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi traveled to Iran and is expected to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as part of Islamabad's mediation efforts.
Sources told the news agency that Lebanon has emerged as the main sticking point in the negotiations and added that, if Iran agrees, a senior Pakistani delegation will head to Switzerland.
