Russian President Vladimir Putin does not intend to meet with a delegation from the United States at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg (SPIEF), Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said at a press briefing on Thursday.
"They don't quite meet our criteria, so to speak," Peskov told reporters. The US delegation, which will participate in the SPIEF for the first time in several years, will be led by US Commission of Fine Arts Chairman Rodney Mims Cook Jr., Putin's Foreign Policy Assistant Yury Ushakov revealed earlier this week.
