eBay Q3 revenue up 9% to $2.8B

eBay Inc. said on Wednesday that its revenue in the third quarter of its fiscal 2025 amounted to $2.8 billion, rising 9% from the same quarter in 2024 and coming in slightly above estimates.

GAAP net income fell 6% year on year to $597 million, or $1.28 per diluted share. Meanwhile, non-GAAP net income was up 8% to $636 million and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) surged 14% to $1.36. The company added it expects fourth-quarter adjusted EPS between $1.31 and $1.36, which is lower than analysts had expected.

"Q3 was another strong quarter for eBay, reflecting continued momentum across our marketplace and disciplined execution of our strategy," CEO Jamie Iannone stated. "We're transforming the eBay experience through AI built on 30 years of unique insights, while enhancing trusted programs in shipping, live commerce and circular fashion," he added.

eBay shares slid 6.86% in after-hours trading.
