GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. announced on Wednesday that its revenue in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025 saw a yearly rise of 6% to $5.1 billion. The company's net income, on the other hand, declined by 5.3% compared to the same period the year before to $464 million. Its operating income decreased by 3.4% on an annual basis to $653 million. Meanwhile, its diluted earnings per share (EPS) went down by 3.9% year-on-year to $0.98.
"We delivered robust orders with growth across all segments in the third quarter," Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Arduini commented. "As a result of our increased R&D [research and development] investments, we are entering a new wave of innovation and, coupled with our focus on lean, we expect to accelerate top and bottom line growth."
After the report was released, GE HealthCare's shares dropped by 7% in premarket trading to $73.84.
