Israeli min warns UK Labour about 'false' Israel narrative

 Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar spoke on Friday to his British counterpart, Yvette Cooper, and warned the Labour Party about what he described as adopting "the false lies and libels against Israel of genocide and ethnic cleansing" at its recent conference.

Writing on X, Saar said that Cooper "clarified that these decisions do not reflect the government's policy and the government dismissed them." He raised the issue of pro-Palestinian marches and protests across the United Kingdom, noting that it "disturbs the Jewish community in Britain deeply and it must be fought aggressively and determinedly."

Furthermore, Saar described the recent stabbing attack at a synagogue in Manchester as "a decisive moment in the UK's own history, for preserving its character, and it requires relentlessly combating the poisonous anti-Semitic movement."
