The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) said power has been restored for 90,000 customers in San Francisco hours after a major outage left approximately one-third of the city without electricity.
As of 9 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Saturday, some 40,000 customers were still without power, the company announced in a post on X.
In addition, PG&E added that crews would continue working through the night to restore service.
