Delegations from Turkey, Egypt, Qatar and the United States discussed the next steps for implementing the Gaza peace plan at a meeting in Miami on Friday, Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oncu Keceli said in a social media post on Saturday.
The officials discussed the completion of the first stage of the Gaza agreement, as well as the transition to the second phase of the peace plan. The participants noted "that the ceasefire achieved in the first phase has continued despite violations, the release of hostages has been completed, and the conflicts have largely been halted," according to the spokesman.
Furthermore, the officials discussed the steps that should be taken in order to establish the Gaza Peace Council and the International Stabilization Force, as outlined in the peace plan.
