Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO Kirill Dmitriev criticized the European Union on Monday, asking the bloc if they now "miss Nord Stream" gas pipeline.
Dmitriev replied to Politico's post on X, which claims that "the EU is on track to get nearly half its gas from the United States," describing it as a vulnerability for the bloc. "Huh, so cancelling Russian gas made the EU 'strategically vulnerable'? ... Feel free to post Ursula [von der Leyen, European Commission President] and her talented team's quotes on Russian gas below," Dmitriev mocked.
