Before we start, let's talk strategy – for some reason, there are Republicans who want to live up to the reputation they've established as the 'stupid party' – as opposed to Democrats being the evil party.
Both monikers are being shown to be well-deserved these days.
Voter ID to prevent cheating is an 80/20 issue with everyone except the minuscule 15% -- the micro minority leftist ruling class.
The polling bears this out, and yet the 'stupid party' is afraid the left and the national socialist media will lie and call them nasty names and adjectives that never apply. They're forgetting that this has been the playbook of the violent left for the past 90 years, and no matter what they do, the left is going to keep on with these same lies and same tired tactics.
And on the scale of leftist lies, insulting certain minority groups with the gaslighting that they somehow can't figure out a basic tool for operating in a first-world society has to be one of their worst.
Violent leftists are usually well practiced at lies, from the careful wording to repeating them ad nauseam until they become the 'truth.' However, sometimes their lies become so ludicrous that they denigrate their own art form and craft.
Granted, most of the time, the left is obligated to lie – they have no other choice in the matter. But they hope that repetition will overcome the basic logic of common sense of the facts every time.
We're supposed to believe that a terrorist group – The KKK -- that targeted Republicans was started by the Republicans. That only works if you don't think about it too much. Better yet, don't think about it at all and just trust the lying left in being 'honest.'
Even then, there are times when leftists sink to laughable lies that are ludicrous beyond belief, such as the time that MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace and JB Pritzker claimed Democrats have never implied that Trump is Hitler. That was to the level of a classic that makes 'your lying eyes' look tame.
But now with the issue of voter ID, we're supposed to believe that there are still a significant number of voting-age citizens (we're being diplomatic here – given that number is likely close to zero) who do not have a basic tool to function in our modern society. And that same significant number of voting-age citizens can never accomplish certain basic tasks. A list that should strain leftist credulity to the breaking point.
Glenn Beck recently went through a list of the basic functions of our society that require ID. I missed this partially because I was driving to a pharmacy and showing my ID to pick up a prescription.
We're supposed to believe the lie that there are citizens of voting age who don't have photo ID.
Thus, they can never drive a car (or any motorized vehicle).
Never get a learner's permit, license, or replace a license that is lost.
Never rent a car, buy car insurance, file auto insurance claims, register a vehicle, or even transfer a vehicle's title.
These citizens of voting age without photo ID can never use car sharing apps, buy an airline ticket in person, board a commercial flight, or enter the TSA pre-check.
They also can never check a bag at the airport, rent a U-Haul or moving truck, or even buy a bus or a train ticket in person.
These mythical citizens can never open a bank account, withdraw a large amount of cash, cash a check or even retrieve a lost item from any Greyhound bus depot.
They can never deposit cash, wire money, or get a cashier's check.
Without a photo ID, these voting age citizens can never apply for or refinance a loan.
They cannot apply for a credit card or increase their credit limit.
We're supposed to believe the leftist lie that these people can get by without ever renting, buying, or leasing any kind of real estate. Much less get the utilities turned on, or transferred to their name.
They also can never apply for unemployment, workers' comp, file a labor complaint, or even join a union.
These citizens can never obtain medical care or even pick up a prescription. They also cannot go to the ER, obtain health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.
They cannot pawn items or pick up dry cleaning in someone else's name. Forget about buying a gun or ammunition in some states.
These people can't even buy a beer at the end of the day.
The list goes on and on, and we're supposed to believe that there are those amongst us who do not have this simple societal tool that is needed everywhere.
In summary, we're supposed to believe the abject lie that there can be a significant number of voting-age citizens who do not have the simple expedient of a photo ID.
William Kirk from Washington Gun Law has a very good 10-minute summary of just why the violent left opposes this legislation.
The Bill to Save Democracy
Today, we discuss HR 22, or what is called the SAVE Act. If passed into legislation, this law would require each state to verify, through actual written proof, a person's citizenship before they can be registered to vote.
It's since been toughened up to the SAVE America Act. One final note:
President Trump has developed a trademarked technique in which he sets up lying leftists in front of a brick wall, and they are obligated to run into it at full speed. It is both damaging to them and amusing for us at the same time.
A filibuster of the SAVE America Act would be another perfect opportunity for the Republicans to do this to the Dems all on their own.
But for some reason, they don't think they have 'the time' to damage the lying leftists in this way while saving the country.
Calling your congressmen and urging them to go ahead and do this would certainly be a good use of your time, because leftists in a massive self-own would be worth it.
