Amazon.com Inc. announced in a statement on Wednesday that its pharmacy subsidiary plans to expand the same-day delivery to almost 4,500 cities in the United States by the end of 2026.
This means that around 2,000 new communities will be added to the delivery system. "The expansion will offer fast and reliable medication delivery to more customers nationwide, including those in newly served states such as Idaho and Massachusetts," Amazon detailed.
Amazon Prime members can pay $5 a month for Amazon Pharmacy's RxPass that gives them unlimited access to more than 50 common generic medications with free delivery.
