United States President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday establishing an anti-fraud task force that will be led by US Vice President JD Vance to target taxpayer fraud across the country.
"If we found half the fraud going on in this country, I think we'd have more than a balanced budget and I think we have a good chance of doing that," Trump stated. He also touched on Minnesota, adding that "a lot of it has to do" with Somalia. "I believe the governor is complicit. I believe Ilhan Omar is complicit. I believe that your Attorney General is complicit," he declared.
The US vice president also emphasized that this order will force the federal government to cease defrauding taxpayers and guarantee that benefits intended for US citizens "actually" reach them, "not fraudsters."
