US intel claims Iran regime is 'consolidating'

 United States intelligence officials told the Washington Post on Monday that the Iranian regime is "likely to remain in place for now," protected by the "powerful" Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The outlet claimed that United States President Donald Trump had been given "very sobering briefings" before the military operation. "It wasn't just predictable ... It was predicted. He was told in advance," an official reportedly said. "They started this war for Israel and then left us to face the attacks by ourselves," an Arab official from the Gulf region was quoted as saying.

"We don’t have a plan for a long war. We need to finish it as soon as possible," the official said. In January, the outlet issued a report claiming that Trump was warned that a large-scale attack on Iran was likely to topple the regime.
