Argentine Minister for Foreign Affairs Pablo Quirno announced that his country will dispatch a C-130 Hercules aircraft carrying humanitarian aid to Bolivia, amid mass anti-government protests and strikes in the latter country.
The aid will be sent at the request of the Bolivian government, Quirno wrote on X, adding that the operation will take place over the next seven days.
Bolivia is currently facing widespread protests demanding the resignation of Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz and his cabinet, while the unions have also declared a general strike.
