Peskov: Negotiations with EU will be necessary

 Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on Wednesday that negotiations with the European Union "will be necessary ... one way or another."

"We're taking this seriously. One way or another, we'll have to discuss Europe's future architecture. Doing so without European participation is impossible," Peskov told reporters. He also noted that the dynamics between Russia and the bloc are "evolving rapidly," but that continuation of diplomacy will be possible when the "pause" in Ukrainian peace efforts ends.
