United States Vice President JD Vance remarked on Tuesday that Russia taking Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles is not in Washington's immediate plans.
Speaking at a press conference at the White House, Vance noted that the administration is aware of such reports, but not of where they "come from." He also claimed that Iran has not raised that matter during its negotiations with the US. He added that he would expect Tehran to open that subject if it were in the plans.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that his country's military will "go in" in Iran if the latter does not hand over its "nuclear dust." Previously, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claimed that Tehran and Washington agreed to postpone negotiations about enriched uranium.
