Local residents reported hearing multiple explosions on Qeshm Island, the Iranian Mehr News Agency said on Tuesday.
The news outlet also shared that the investigation is ongoing and that the nature and source of the explosions are still unknown.
Just yesterday, microdrones were spotted over the island, which activated air-danger alerts. In addition, United States President Donald Trump announced that he had delayed an attack on Iran planned for today.
