Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov warned on Tuesday that the risk of a direct "collision" between Russia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is increasing.
"As a result of such a sublimation of tensions, including openly provocative actions in the nuclear sphere, strategic risks and the danger of a head-on collision between NATO and our country with all the ensuing potentially catastrophic consequences are increasing," Ryabkov shared in an interview with TASS.
Moreover, the Russian official pointed out the "escalatory narrative" of certain European countries about the "impending threat" of a full-fledged war with Russia.
