The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it received a report of a vessel being on fire in the Strait of Hormuz, 8 nautical miles off the coast of Kamzar, Oman.
At the same time, multiple Iranian news outlets said the ship may have been attacked by Iran. State media reported another wave of missiles being launched from Lorestan.
There has been no additional information about the fate of the crew. Iran has not yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
