Iranian forces attacked two US military bases in Kuwait on Sunday, targeting ammunition depots and air-defense radar systems, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported.
The strikes were described as retaliation for recent US attacks on Iranian cities.
Iran said American operations had hit Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Hajiabad, and Qeshm Island near the Strait of Hormuz.
