Kuwait Airways took to X to announce on Saturday that it has rescheduled most of its flights due to the closure of Kuwaiti airspace, following the latest Iranian attacks. The firm also informed passengers that takeoff and landing operations at Kuwait International Airport have been temporarily suspended.
"Kuwait Airways announces to its valued customers the rescheduling of most flights due to the airspace closure on Saturday, 18 July 2026. Kuwait Airways urges all passengers to stay updated on their flight status. Notifications and text messages will be sent to the phone numbers registered with their bookings to inform them of any updates," the carrier wrote.
Earlier, Iran's army said it struck US military targets in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, targeting military bases, ammunition depots, and other military infrastructure in response to recent American attacks.
