The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated on Thursday that Iran's attacks on its bases and assets in the Gulf states had "no operational impact" on the US forces, according to Al-Jazeera, citing CENTCOM's spokesperson.
"The US has 50,000 soldiers in the Middle East and we are ready to carry out any mission," the spokesperson reportedly said, adding that the US forces hit Iran's missile and drone launch sites, as well as reconnaissance and radar installations on Greater Tunb Island and near the Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas.
CENTCOM also previously announced that it continued with the new wave of attacks in Iran, noting that it is the fifth consecutive night of airstrikes in the Middle Eastern country.
