The United States Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced on Wednesday that it is imposing sanctions on seven individuals and entities, accusing them of helping deliver weapons to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"President Trump has been clear that Iran must denuclearize," US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said. "Treasury will continue to target and disrupt the illicit procurement networks that fund Iran’s weapons programs and war machine," he added.
The targeted individuals include the general director of Tehran-based Nika Jet Company, Behrouz Namazi, an Italian national Dounia Ettaib, and two employees of Russian aviation transportation company Avratek, Mariya Vladimirovna Selina and Vadim Anatolyevich Druzhbin.
