Iran: Future of our defense lies in AI, new tech

 Iranian Acting Defense Minister Majid Ebn-e-Reza stated on Tuesday that the future of the Islamic Republic's defense lies in artificial intelligence (AI), new technologies and "smart systems."

While visiting the Iran Electronics Industries complex, Ebn-e-Reza noted that the recent months of war did not halt Iranian defense production. "The enemy thought that by attacking strategic defense centers, the progress of Iran's defense industry would be stopped," he said, stressing that "the experience of the recent war proved that the defense industry of the Islamic Republic of Iran has overcome such threats and continues its development path with strength, relying on indigenous knowledge and the capacity of the elite."

Ebn-e-Reza also noted that the Iranian military industry is ready to enter a new stage of "technological leap."
