Multiple explosions rocked southern Iran following a new wave of United States airstrikes, according to Iranian state media outlets.
Blasts hit several coastal cities and islands, including Bandar Abbas, Bandar Kangan, Jask, Qeshm, and Bushehr, with one hitting a telecommunications tower in Sirik. No civilian casualties or infrastructure damage have been reported so far, the local authorities confirmed.
The operation came as United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it struck targets in "Iran to continue degrading their ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz."
