Iran's armed forces announced they struck a US Patriot defense missile system, radar and communication sites, and ammunition depots in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The military clarified that drones were used in the attacks, but did not specify which US bases in these two countries were targeted.
Earlier, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it destroyed US drone hangars and a command and communications center at an air base in Jordan.
