The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense (MoD) confirmed that the country's air defense systems are actively engaging a wave of incoming missile and drone attacks from Iran.
According to an official statement from the MoD, the loud blasts heard across the country are the result of ongoing interceptions, asserting that air defenses are successfully neutralizing incoming ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
It urged people "to remain calm and follow the safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities."
