Leica Biosystems, an operating company of Danaher Corp., said it would acquire StatLab Medical Products, a developer of anatomical pathology products, from Linden Capital Partners and Audax Private Equity.
Leica President Gustavo Perez Fernandez said the partnership would allow its laboratories to achieve consistency, standardization and quality required to adopt artificial intelligence-enabled cancer diagnostics at scale.
Leica focuses on cancer diagnostics and digital pathology solutions under Danaher, a global science and technology company that owns brands including Cytiva, Cepheid and Beckman Coulter.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
