Anthropic PBC is negotiating with banks to expand its credit lines by several billion dollars ahead of a planned initial public offering (IPO) this year, the Information reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The move would give the artificial intelligence company greater liquidity as it prepares to enter public markets.
SpaceX took similar steps before its June listing.
