Maritime tracking platform Kpler announced on Friday that confirmed crossings via the Strait of Hormuz dropped to a 3-week low on 16 July, with just eight recorded, and seven of those took the Iranian route, marking the fourth straight day traffic has concentrated there.
"Strait of Hormuz traffic continued to weaken on 16 July, with confirmed crossings falling to eight, the lowest level in three weeks," Kpler's maritime logistics data showed. "While regional mediation efforts remain underway, commercial shipping patterns suggest military developments are now shaping operational decisions more than diplomatic progress."
