Israel's Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) said crossings into the Gaza Strip will be closed "until further notice" after Iran's missile attack on Sunday.
The post on X stressed that the closure, which includes the Kerem Shalom and Rafah border crossings, was part of "a number of necessary security measures" and that it "will not affect the humanitarian situation" in Gaza. The Kerem Shalom crossing has been the main entry point for humanitarian aid.
"The substantial quantities of food that have entered the Strip since the beginning of the ceasefire significantly exceed the nutritional needs of the population, according to UN methodologies," COGAT said.
