Air France suspends Dubai, Riyadh flights

 Air France said on Monday it suspended flights to and from Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh until July 24 and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates until July 27, with both dates included, "due to the security situation in the region and restrictions that may affect certain airspaces."

Flights departing Riyadh will remain suspended through July 25, while services leaving Dubai will be halted through July 28. The airline also extended its flight suspension for Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, through August 2.

Air France cited "the security situation in the region and restrictions that may affect certain airspaces." It added: "The resumption of operations will remain subject to an assessment of the security situation locally, which is rapidly evolving."
