'Mediators said to propose reset in US-Iran relations'

 Mediators from Pakistan and Qatar issued a joint proposal on Monday to resolve the renewed conflict between the United States and Iran, Iran's ISNA reported. The proposal would see the two countries revert to the positions they held before the most recent escalation on July 9, ahead of a return to peace negotiations.

Meanwhile, Al Arabiya cited a source claiming that another ceasefire proposal is under consideration, aiming to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for 10 days to two weeks. Oil prices have been on the rise since the US and Iran resumed hostilities, climbing above $90 per barrel.
