United States President Donald Trump signed a proclamation imposing tariffs of up to 100% on imported drones and their components, the White House announced.
The top rate covers drones weighing more than 25 kilograms or equipped with thermal imaging capabilities. Other drones and components will face a 25% tariff, while qualifying imports from several US partners will receive lower rates, the White House said.
Most of the new duties will take effect 21 days after Trump signed the proclamation.
