N. Korea's projectile may have reached Japan's EEZ

 A projectile that North Korea launched earlier may have fallen into Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ), local Kyodo News reported on Wednesday, citing a source.

South Korea previously dismissed Pyongyang's actions. The previous launch took place less than a week ago.

Meanwhile, South Korea said the projectile was likely a ballistic missile launched toward the East Sea.
