Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei called on newly appointed IRGC commander-in-chief Ahmad Vahidi to strengthen the force’s capabilities for “maximum deterrence” and maintain readiness to carry out “powerful offensive operations against the enemy.”
In his appointment decree Monday, Khamenei also instructed Vahidi to strengthen ideological commitment and what he described as the revolutionary spirit among IRGC commanders and personnel.
He further called for the development of a command structure combining religious commitment, scientific expertise and modern management skills throughout the organization.
