Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Saturday that South Korea and Japan could help boost his country's air defenses amid ongoing conflict with Russia.
Speaking to reporters during a joint press conference in Belgrade with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Zelensky said the two East Asian countries have not yet aided Kyiv with air defenses. "Very often people ask about Israel. We would also like to receive air defense from them," he stressed.
The Ukrainian leader confirmed the US will provide licenses for the production of Patriot missiles. "Now we have agreed with President Trump that he will give licenses, but imagine if we had received them four years ago. We would have already made Patriot for everyone," he declared.
